AI Cancer Detection

Our team set out to save as many lives as possible by combining the technologies of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision to help spot and stop cancer. We developed an app that allows users to upload an image of a tumor in question to determine whether it is classified as benign (harmless), or malignant (dangerous). The app also classifies which form of cancer the tumor resembles: melanoma (MEL), basal cell carcinoma (BCC), or actinic keratosis /Bowens disease (AKIEC). The potential for this project to have a global impact lies in the fact that any person in their home can take a picture of their own skin, run it through the program, and receive real-time feedback about the issue in question with higher accuracy than professional diagnosis. With our model trained through the use of a Convolutional Neural Network.

Teams+

Teams+ is a Twitch Extension that we developed with a unique way to help grow a community of streamers and regular viewers who watch them. With the special ability to let streamers mark viewers as trusted, making for a tight-knit trusted community. This app was inspired by by a pretty cool feature on Twitch: Teams! Currently, while it's easy to find other cool streamers through Teams, it's not so simple when it comes to finding cool viewers. Teams+ aims to solve this by allowing streamers to create teams within Teams+ and adding users to said teams with various levels of Trust, indicating the role of a certain viewer.

Find My Doggo (Prototype)

Have you ever walked by a lost dog poster...

I have, and I want to help but in reality, it is very unlikely. With this app, anyone that has a camera and internet access can help a lost dog. All you would need to do is take a photo of the dog, upload it, and tag the location where the photo was taken. The photo will be processed by a classification model to determine its breed and will be stored in our database.

On the flipside, if you've lost your dog and would like the support of your community in your search, all you would need to do is submit a photo of your dog to our website. Like before, it will classify its breed, but now it will search our database for the same breed within the same area. It gives dog owners another mean of locating their loved one.
